J.G. Stickley inspired Craftsman style chair made with white oak, steel, leather, and canvas. This chair is a contemporary version of the Stickley cube chair. It is made to be both masculine for a cowboy and elegant for a refined woman.
Old Techniques, New Technology

These designs were presented to Gainey Ceramics as part of a corporate sponsored school project. The inspirations for the different forms include crystals, bamboo, clovers and the human heart.
3D modeled renderings were used as concept images for the traditionally handcrafted ceramic objects.

Exploration of Glass

These are some of the artifacts from my foray into working with glass at Pacific Art Glass in Gardena, Ca.
Some of the techniques we learned include creating tiles for roll up vases, glass blowing, sand blasting, cast glass, embossing glass, making stained glass tiles and cold working.
Amassing Memories

Inspired by a friend who saves samples of sand from her travels in a repurposed spice rack I wanted to create a furniture piece meant specifically for storing and displaying the user's keepsakes.

The side table contains pre-labeled containers of different destinations and acts as a wishlist of places I'd like to travel. The side table is meant to be personal to the user and can be used to display objects and memories specific to his or her hobbies or memories.

The table is made with a variety of reclaimed woods echoing the idea of collecting items from different places (including ipe, white oak, red oak, birch, alder, and walnut.

Happy Go Lucky

Dogs are more than just pets, they are equal members of the family, and they deserve a special place inside of the home that is all their own. Inspired by contemporary designers and architects I created a non-traditional doghouse that adds beauty and fun to your indoor decor.

The doghouse features a cushioned roof for lounging, storage in the steps leading to the roof for dog supplies, and cut outs for added ventilation and visibility for your furry friend.
